Top 10. Seriously. All the players you mention arent SFs. Melos playing the 4. Durant is a 4. Hayward aint ****. Batums alright. George is playing the 2.
Durant plays the 4 except when Perkins, Ibaka and he are all out together. Which is less often than you might think, since Perkins only plays 20-25 MPG. And when he is out there, Perkins has zero offensive presence so you could still argue Durant plays the 4 on the offensive side.
... What? Anyways, basketball isn't a static position sport like the NFL, it's dynamic so the hang-ups and pedantism over labels is unwarranted. Durant does play the 'four' quite regularly but not as much as you're implying. There's usually Perkins/ Collison playing C with Ibaka at the 4. When one of the three aren't in Durant does switch over to the 4 but it's not like that entails dramatic oppositional changes. He's still typically guarded by wings and his game is still perimeter oriented like your prototypical SF/ SG. It is peculiar to see how the NBA has gotten smaller though, but Lebron and Carmelo would be capable of guarding PFs in any era. Durant... not so much. But yeah, I would still classify Carmelo, Lebron and Durant as SFs. When the Heat roll small Battier often has to guard PFs or Bosh will stick to them while a mouse guards the house. To each his own I guess.
Durant has played a grand total of 374:23 minutes at PF (mind you, I don't really think this is 'correct' in late game situations when you are down, you put your best shooters on the floor- players are mostly position-less). Considering he's played 2856 minutes this year (2400+ at the SF), pretty sure it is safe to say what position he is...
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/playerrankings/regularseason/SF I didnt go through every pages.. statistic wise..he is listed at 8th!

What? Hayward is way more talented than Parsons both athletically and fundamentally. Did you not watch the Rockets/Jazz game? Hayward destroyed Parsons. Utah Jazz are making Hayward their star right now, I don't think a franchise would build around Parsons.
Melo doesn't deserve to be on level 1, he is a level 2 guy. I'd downgrade Iguodala to level 3.5 this season- he gets a lot of love based on rep, but he hasn't been the same since he went to Denver. He started the season poorly but he's gotten better recently.
problem is players play the 2-3-4 at the same time cant tell what position they really are but if u take starting small forwards then 1) lebron 2)durant 3)melo 4)pierce 5)paul george 6)deng 7)iggy 8)gay parsons some where in the next group ( batum , ak47 , parsons , hayward , kawhi ) so at best #9 at worst #14 , u cant forget granger either but for our system id say parsons is 4th best , and taking age and salary u gotta put parsons at the top
No I'm not, you actually think Parsons is better Hayward? There are a lot of GMs that contacted the Jazz trying to get Hayward from them. Jazz hasn't budged at all, which shows they plan on using him as a core piece for the future. How many Jazz games have you seen this season? I've watched more than half btw.
