What do you people really think Lin/Andersen/Parsons/Smith/Asik lineup would accomplish without Harden?

We beat a tired team that played 4 games in 5 nights..

Harden is the reason we're as good as we are and don't forget that.

Lin was Nash like. He was basically a coach on the floor last night. The real problem is NOT Harden, it's McHale. This is an example of what happens when Lin is the coach! Harvard education produced presidents, it's only natural that he'd be a great leader. Oh, he purposely turned the ball over to Paul early in game to lull Clippers to a false sense of security and dropping their D. Part of his stratagem. People don't understand Lin>Paul. Alright, Lin≥Paul. Paul thought he was owning Lin with steals, but he was falling into Lin's trap!

THIS!!! Hardin built his reputation by being a 6th man. He has the most experience in that role. We're not playing him right! That's why he's sucking. He's not familiar with that role and will never grow his game ever. We're doomed for 5 years. Any coach that doesn't win 90% of games is McAsianFail.

I think some are just too sensitive to their favorite player getting dumped on. They need to learn some CFers dump on all players when they suck or deify them when they play well. Read old game threads anywhere. Also, a few trolls don't represent the fanbase in Houston so no need to say stuff like "This is why Houston doesn't deserve Lin" or "Trade Lin to Lakers or Knicks" in response. Learn the sensibilities of the community you're joining and learn to distinguish sarcasm from trolling and use the ignore list liberally.

Lol this thread has some funny responses.

Anyway, we are a lotto team without Harden. Hell, we were a lotto team last year and we got rid of every key player minus Parsons.

You know whats really hilarious in this and other threads around the GARM lately?? All these LOFHs are posting sarcastic posts such as how we don't need Harden or how Lin is a superstar and then next thing you know other LOFHs starts replying to those posts as if LOFs have posted them. Friggin funny.

Such a LOH, what has Lin ever done to you?

Any real Rocket fan knows that Lin is far better than Nash. He has prime Jason Kidd defense, Michael Jordan competitiveness, court vision unprecedented in basketball history and most importantly will revolutionize the sports world. He is to basketball what Tesla is for modern day technology.

It's always LOHs like these polluting the board, and jock riding the stat padding Harden and racist McHale. SMH at the "Nash like" statement . Please, everybody knows Lin, along with Curry, was an all-star snub unlike Nash who wasn't even an all-star.

    Response

I think your post is misguided. Perhaps a more legitimate question is: Should Mac reduce Harden's minutes by 4 to 6 minutes and ask him to play a tougher D?

    Yes, obviously.

Harden only scores because the refs always bails him out, but Lin scores because he is able to draw fouls.

Harden has so many careless turnovers, but Lin's turnovers are good because he tries to make plays happen - in fact we will win when Lin has a lot of turnovers because it means he was handling the ball.

    Inexcusable thread! Yah!

Wait so you're saying it was McHale's brilliant coaching decisions that led to a win?

clutch, this is a good thread for all of us to rethink who is annoying on this board. it started with harden related topic (of coz i completely disagree). somehow, it turned into discrediting rox players' efforts of winning the last night game from a segment of posters.

if op's goal is to set up a trap for LOFs, it is a total failure.

Thanks to all those repping me for having the courage to start this thread -- I knew I'd catch a lot of backlash from the hataz.
