This is pretty much the point that people are missing. During Linsanity Lin would often have a rough first quarter or even first half and then explode in the fourth. He gives the team what they need when they need it if the coach places trust in him.

Who, Woodson? He played less minutes under Woodson. It's obviously not dumbtoni.

Like Chandler Parsons lately? How many minutes has he been averaging past few games?

We were within 4 in the 3rd and within 5 to start the 4th. Then we iso'd and lost the game.

Is Lin's role on this team to score 20+ points? Make up your mind before you talk out of both sides of your mouth.

Are you saying Mchale is blind that Bev is not a starter right now?

If they hadn't fallen behind 22-9, they wouldn't have had to play perfectly just to catch up.

Jeremy's PER puts him at #137. Bout right. But I see where you're trying to come from.

I agree with you on Bev, but since when was Lin "a legit all star"?

And Lin is an expendable piece. Come on, man. Be real.

Mike d's concept: shoot shoot shoot
He will be mad if you are not shooting.
He won't be mad if you miss it.
He will be happy if yo don't pass it.

Didn't Parsons get benched when the lead was 25-10? He should get some blame too then.

Name the games that Beverly has outplayed Lin. We'll tally them up to see if your statement is true.

Lin is too passive. He needs to get to the basket. He's settling for outside shot, and in particular the 3 and he's not really consistent from that range. His defense has fallen off, and Im starting to see some doubt creeping in. Add to that the fact that McHale has a quick trigger and Bev is playing well and you have a recipe for a slump.

He is 37th right below Jeremy Lin. I think it would have been very hard for him to have been in the top 10.

He played less under Woodson cause after a few games together, they started to blow the hell out of teams, games would be over in the 2nd quarter.

PER is a Bullsh!t, flawed stat that rewards volume shooting and doesn't factor in defense.

Doesn't matter that he's the 'starter' if he's getting pulled because he's not performing. Let's take last 4 games:

    Tonight:
Jlin in 20 min and -13
    Bev in 28 min and a +4

What was our margin of defeat tonight?

A couple nights ago against SA:
    Jlin in 27 min and a -14
    Bev in 24 min and a +11

B4 that against Cleveland in a BLOWOUT
    Jlin in 20 min a +1
    Bev in 21 min a +26

Go back a 4th game 7 point win against Jazz:

    Jlin in 30 min and a -3
    Bev in 18 min and a +10

What was our margin of victory? Oh, 7 points against the Jazz.

    Thank GOD for Beverley lately.

I just don't get why JLin is back at being a spot up shooter!!! The helll is going on with this team?? Just when I thought JLin and Harden could co-exist and we're back at square one...the entire system keep flip flopping every time JLin screws up with TO....
Feels like if JLin ****s up he's benched and used as spot up shooter??? Man we all know JLin can't shoot from that damn corner...so why bother putting him there?? Not getting it at all!!! The damn team is soo inconsistent...its frustrating...
