The playoffs to get into the playoffs starts tonight. Should be intense.

 

For our coaches you take the good (player improvement, offensive system other coaches call "beautifully conceived") with the bad (game management). It is a bummer that the only part of coaching we see as fans is the part they appear to be worst at.

But I'll bet Thomas Robinson won't be called a bust at the end of the season, and he would have been called that (already was called that) in Sacremento.

Looking at the #6 seed in the conference and we think we should beat them if the coaches don't screw up. Give us actual crappy coaches and we would only think we could beat them.

Just sayin.

 

Just saw Stephen Smith on ESPN being asked if Lakers would make playoffs. He said they would and that Utah would be the team not making it. Felt Golden State would get in. Didn't say a word about the Rockets one way or another.

I guess we will be in.

 

What does he mean by turnaround? Thanks.

 

Wouldn't it be sweet if all the players played with energy all the time, and it wasn't a factor.

 

Despite their record being 5-5 in the last 10, GSWs still performed well at home. Their only loss at home in the past month and half was the one against us. Hopefully we can win and take their spot in the playoffs though.

 

No matter who plays in the 4th qtr, I just want a win tonight.

 

Those home victories were against bad teams though (except for the Spurs). The Warriors struggled to beat the Raptors a few nights ago, so I think we have a decent chance at winning if the good Rockets showed up tonight. If the lackluster no defense Rockets are playing, then it'll be a long night.

Just win pleaseeee. And it starts with defense! If our starters tried a little more on D and toned it down on O a little more, we can be a 6th seed. I really think it's that simple.

 

Damn, a Harden/Curry backcourt would be scary.

 

Agreed...Although Bev is playing well, we need scoring output from the bench. AB provides a perfect spark. That being said, McHale does take a long time getting new players well acclimated. Also hope to see TRob get more minutes. Played with a lot of energy on Wednesday.

Is it first time JVG calling Rockets game against Warriors? I know he lives in Houston so he is excited about this game.

 

I doubt it. Unless Lin is really stinking it up or it's a blowout he's going to play the 4th. Look at all the backlash and unnecessary speculation from last game, not to mention this game is in the Bay Area.

Though of course you never know with McHale. He could bench Lin the entire 4th again as a big F U to all the Lin fans. :grin:

 

Scary defensively?

 

When Lin went to the bench, HOU was down 7. At the usual substitution mark of 7:30 to 6:00, HOU was down 4/6 respectively, there's your perfect microcosm of McHale's pocket universe for you, where a 2-point swing is a "turnaround" worthy of benching two starters, but enough about Lin and Asik's f***ed up par for course, let's talk about our other starter who was f***ed by McHale's stupidity.

Is McHale going to have the D-Mo instead of Parsons guard a quick wing player again, then blame/bench his 7-footer for not being able to keep up with a quick wing then sub in a lumbering forward on 60-year-old knees who's even slower to cover for McHale's own hilarious incompetence at not knowing the very basics of how to match up? I mean, man, seriously, that dude is not even fit to coach a D-League team.
