this is getting old.

 

This game on McHale... SMH... He did the right thing to play Beverley and TRob to provide defensive energy but horrible decision to put Harden and Delfino in who have been struggled on both ends all night. No Asik and Lin in the 4Q who have been playing great on both ends (except Asik free throws). How can he made such mistakes this late of the season?

 

Learn to count. 1 + 1 + 1 + 1..... != 1

 

Actually the reverse is true. You guys will support anyone against Lin or LOFs, including propping up a coach who had really horrendous decisions in-game, Harden going Iso-mode being fine, and turning a back-up PG who did a solid job as a spark into a closer. How did our offense flow in the 4th quarter?

 

Go away with these comments. In how many games Lin played well and got benched?

 

the last 5 min. Bev and TRob did nothing

Asik and Lin should have been in

Trob set bad picks and Collison never ran the offense for dallas(mayo did)

Really judging a PG on the number of rebounds? Beverley was solid, nothing spectacular, a lot of his assists were passing to Defino/Parsons who hit 3's. He had one play that stood out which was getting the steal and assist to TRob for the dunk. I didn't see any penetration or driving to the hoop at all which is what a PG is suppose to do. The last 5 minutes of the game he just stood in a corner watching Harden play hero ball.

 

He brought energy.

Lol the 0 defense strategy didn't work. Mavs scored at will. Yay got beat by another sub 500 team when we just blew them out Sunday.

Difference?

Lin ranned the Sunday team, Rox blow them out by 30+ pts. Harden/Parsons ranned this team with a PG that "brought a lot of energy" but no points.

But hey Harden got 28pts shooting 5/17. Awesome all star stats.

 

2012'ers cost us the game.

 

Carlisle-thanks for the rockets coach we didn't exert on D a lot tonight because our D is practically on Jlin but he was benched on the 4th so Mchale my former team mate thank you for the win.lol

 

are u watching the game? Trob was a factor all around the court without many touches since Mchale acts as if he can't draw plays for his forwards, him paired with Asik towards the end is even a better fit because hes a natural power foward. I understand lin sitting because Beverly was blazing but why go small having garcia and delfino out there for so long when you have Asik

 

yeah the one game that shoes that defence doesnt win games *cough beverly cough*

 

It just isn't a Houston VS Dallas game without hints of referee controversy.

Lin is more clutch than Beverley and it's also his responsibility to close out games. F*** McFail for putting it on Beverley. He's just a sub.

 

Beverly is a fun player many people on this forum support because he hustles and is a high energy player. That is good for a bench player. Not good for a closer in the 4th quarter.

We can conclude that Lin / Asik should have been back in the final minutes, or at least that timeout at 4 minutes. 2 open looks by mayo, ISO harden and silly foul by bev in final seconds.

Next game guys.

 

Only in the end, the hot hands were all standing to watch the 5-17 guys to play the hero ball. Any sense here?

there is a reason why Houston leads the league in GAMES LOST decided by 8 points or less. MCHALE'S COACHING SUCKS. No reason to have your best defenders by advanced stats Asik and Lin on the bench the entire 4th quarter and 5 Harden iso's in a row at the end of the game is just brilliant offense. This team should have 40 wins by now if the coaching was halfway decent. The final 2 minutes of a game is where you CALL ACTUAL PLAYS oh yeah this COACH has NO PLAYS.
