21 Games to go, can we get to 50 wins?

Let's just worry about keeping a seed in the playoffs. I could care less about 50 wins!

 

Dude no way. 11-10 or 12-9 is as optimistic as I'm willing to get.

 

I think we lose the rest of our games!!!!!!!

 

Our Pythag record is 37-24. That means if luck/inexperience in close games wasn't involved, we should be 4 games better than our real record. Let's say our luck turns a little and we get two of those games back, I can see us ending up with 46 to 47 wins meaning we will go 13-8 or 14-7.

 

Not that winning 50 games means anything in itself but considering our schedule, we could push for it and I've definitely considered it to be possible if not probable.... until our loss to Milwaukee.
14-7 the rest of the way!! And if we get to 50 wins we may just catch Denver or at least make it interesting. Jeez, that would be awesome.

 

I see a 45 win season coming.

I think it's possible. We had a really tough schedule in the beginning. I havent looked at the rest of the schedule, but I'm assuming that it means we have an easier schedule to end the season.

 

I don't think it's gonna happen but the Rockets should be favored in all of the next 8 games.

If we didn't lost that 9 games stretch during McHale's experiential Hero ball, then we might get there.

Right now, let worry about Lakers.

 

I would be happy if the team goes 13-8 down the stretch and finishes 46-36. With the way Golden State has been playing, I think that could get the Rockets into the 6th seed.

 

Golden State and Utah both have better records than us. Sure, we've blown them out this season multiple times (combined 4-1 against them), but those games are probably pushes.

I'd hope we go 6-2 over the next 8. 7-1 would be nice though.

 

Skip Bayless and Smith loves us and are not worried about the Rockets not making the playoffs lol. but im worried cause the Defense we play.. we can lose on any night!

 

i believe we will get 7 seed, but i don't see more than 47wins.

 

I've had a target of 46 wins for awhile now. I'm thinking it could be anywhere from 44-48 wins.

 

Man yall are trying really hard to jinx us. I mean really hard.

So many threads about us getting the 6th seed or who should we play in in the playoffs...

 

No matter what happens...this team has already vastly exceeded expectations, and for that we can all be thankful
