Lol even lin admitted that harden created that for him to score.
Heck it was team . Harden iso drawing the double passing to delfino okc switches double on him . Delfino does a little pass to lin. Lin is open . Shoots swish!
That last pass was brilliant deception.

Yeah - you're right. Hey I'm an open minded guy I like Lin but mainly I just love basketball.

 

Anyhow it was a FANTASTIC game. Shows we can beat anybody - lets CELEBRATE - not fight. On to Brooklyn - BEAT the NETS! (and obnoxnious DWill).

 

Not to take anything away from this game. I wonder if the outcome would have been different if Perkins was starting? Some are arguing that it may.

 

Nah...He still sits behind Kobe and Wade. He can score by slashing and jumpers but his game is still not complete. He can improve his back to the rim game and definitely his defense. What makes Kobe and Wade the best at their position is that they don't have any weaknesses.

 

No I wouldnt. Thanks for the assumption. Lin running the point is better for BOTH Lin and Harden, which means its better for the team. I would prefer dynamic play that utilizes our PG/SG to their strengths rather than simple Harden iso sets that causes Harden to exhaust himself. I cant find the exact data, but someone also pointed out that Harden's shots go in at a higher rate if his shots are assisted rather than him just bringing it up

 

Probably, Rockets already had trouble scoring in the paint over shotblocker Serge Ibaka. Would have been 2X more difficult trying to get the ball past Ibaka AND Perkins.

Hasheem Thabeet was no where near as scary as Perkins.

This is so funny. Thanks. Westbrick often had bad games with low shooting % but he gets better reception from their loyal fans. Jeremy is only really a 'rookie' in terms of just starting one full season and with a new young team, but one bad game he will be under hell fire from Houston's loyal fans. Man, this is so unfair.

 

Get used to it. He suffered from this since college already.

That's why double team became useless. OKC did not know
who will shoot the 3's. The power of double backcourt
and delfino revealed totally last game.

 

You're giving Perkins way too much credit. OKC is actually better w/o him. If Perkins played, Asik would play more instead of small ball. Advantage us.
