ESPN's blatant hate and disregard for the Rockets is unbelievable

I look at it from a different point of view. E.S.P.N. likes drama and dysfunctionality. There is no drama in Houston just solid young teams with alot of potential and players who don't cause problems. Both the Texans and the Rockets have a bright future.


A prime example is what happened to the Spurs earlier in the year when Popovich sent his stars home instead of playing them in the Heat game. E.S.P.N. all of a sudden started talking about the Spurs and what Popovich did and tried to make a big deal out of it. To Pops and the Spurs organizations credit they didn't let it become a big deal. Now the Spurs aren't being talked about anymore because there's no drama.

 

Remember, now, these ESPN dorks also have their directives:

Lakers.

Heat.

Clippers.

Knicks.

Celtics.

Rinse, repeat.

And Broussard is the biggest jock-sniffer of all.

 

Agree... gotta have the same old story lines for sure... Lakers Celtics hasn't been important since Bird's days. Oh and Heat's Lebron b. Jordan crap to get angry web hits was brilliant. Then you have knicks who perpetually suck getting love because of their city, not their team. Then the clippers are just Lakers 2.0.

Screw the Spurs, screw the Bucks, the Griz and certainly screw the Rockets in their opinion. Oh but sometimes it's OK to like the Mavs because Mark Cuban gets angry web clicks too.

 

This. And I begrudgingly agree that the Spurs have alot more to b**** about than we do.

Yea ESPN is breaking down all the trades...except for this one. It's so weird considering it was the biggest trade that went down.

 

I feel sad for anyone who actually gives a damn if the national media notices the ROckets.

Im sorry, but the Lakers have won what....5 championships since 2000. 2 very recently and been a high playoff seed for the last few years.

The Heat have been to two straight championships and carry probably the best player on the planet in Lebron.

Meanwhile in Homerville, the Rockets have one non first round exit in the playoffs since Nineteen NINETY SEVEN and haven't made the playoffs in years, but you feel as though they deserve MORE press?

Seriously bud. Put down the conspiracy goggles and step away from the keyboard. Ultimately they traded for an underachieving (another) 6'9" PF (whom Morey seems obsessed with these like flies on crap). Yes its early in his career, but Morey hasn't exactly done well with these in the past...that is picking up former high lottery pick castoffs from other teams.
