The McHale tough love theory sort of goes out the window considering that McHale NEVER complains to the refs when Lin doesn't get a foul call, or complains when a BS foul is called on him. We all see it. McHale never says boo.

 

Agree, except the part about post-game interviews as I don't really care about those since they don't really affect the game.

Can ppl bring that "ooh LOF" noise down some notches? It's not clever, you're not cool for identifying the LOFs, and all it does is provoke people to make even more borderline trollish comments.

"oooh he said Lin's the best Rox player tonight, LOF LOF LOF LOF"

Also 11 TO's in a half is unacceptable.

 

While yelling like a maniac at another grown man is generally not a good way to get a guy to play better, Harden or any superstar is not getting yelled at in that way. Lin is a good player, but he's not the superstar on this team and so he doesn't get superstar treatment.

 

You are funny. He couldn't produce when his teammates are bricking. He was in attack mode and got decked by the Clippers. But ya, Lin isn't carrying himself out there like this is his team.

 

You can say the same thing for Asik and Lin...just watch if either of them are out...they are going to be worth every penny.

Lin created at least 3-4 open looks for the teammates and they just bricked every single one of them.

Then he tried to force it a little bit, unfortunately resulted in a turnover and Macfail immediately called a timeout and yelled right in his face.

Look at his first half stats, 12pts on 3-6 shooting, 4ast and 2TOs. That is good numbers. It could have been better if refs gave Lin a couple more FTs when he was murdered under the basket and no calls.

Chirs Paul is a great PG but at the same time, he is such a p***y. The flop he is selling is so ridiculous.

 

Tough Love

Every player responds differently and need to be handled differently.

Maybe Lin responds better to tough love

If I remember what I read the other day, Coach Smart applied tough love when Lin was a rook at GSW. From what I can tell, Lin has nothing but respect and love for Coach Smart.

Everyone needs to calm down.

Yes the primary go to guy (Harden) is out....we all just have to have faith that everyone will come out in the 2nd half with a whole lot of energy.
