It's crazy how LeBron can score 25ppg while also getting 7-8 assists per game.. Other point guards that average 7-8 assists have lower than 20 PPG because they're not really scoring, but LeBron is passing and scoring.

I've disliked Lebron almost his entire career but I have to concede, he is one of the greatest players of all-time.

Michael Jordan is obviously the consensus greatest, but Lebron is a much more complete player. MJ wasn't winning anything until he got Pippen and a great supporting cast, comparatively I don't think Wade could carry Pippen's jockstrap.

Jordan played the way he did because of his role in the triangle offense. When Jordan wanted to be complete, he could be. The 1988-89 season is indicative of that. He played a PG role similar to what LeBron has played throughout his career as a Point forward and had the numbers to show it. He averaged 32.5 PPG 8 RPG and 8 APG with 15 triple doubles including a stretch of 7 triple doubles in a row. Fact is, if Jordan wanted to play that way, he definitely could. His system and style of play was different, but I have no doubt he would successful playing that PG role if he wanted (even with Pippen).

Lebron dont care bout pts, if he wanted to he could win da scorin title every year.

Can any yall imagine lebron if he ONLY consentrait on scorin points in a game???

Take last night game for example

Lebron had 39 pts on 17-25 shooting

Kobe also took 25 shots but only hit 8.

Whos da better "pure" scorer?

Also, imagine wat lebron could do wit 50 shots in a game

I don't know if he ever will (although it's possible). Lebron's game depends a lot on his speed, strength and stamina. At some point, his legs and back will start to wear out on him. He is 28 and I say he can stay at this top for for another 3-4 years at best before his body begins to feel the effects of all the mileage.

As far as I've been able to figure out, "pure scorer" just means "guy who doesn't do anything other than score." That's why Melo is always at the top of everyone's list even though he scores less than Lebron and Durant on worse efficiency.

Actually Durant was only 2 months older that LeBron when he made his debut. Even with the rule, LeBron only has a 2 month head start.

If not for the rookie rule, Durant would have made his NBA debut 32 days after his 18th birthday

LeBron put up some massive numbers so he'll probably keep this record over Durant, but i got KD ending up as the all-time leading scorer.
