He's been receiving a considerable amount of hype on a multi-national scale since he was 13 years of age, which can derail the development of a prospect as it can lead to him trying to be a big celebrity instead of a great basketball player ...

Overall: Wiggins has an unreal amount of potential and he'll be under the eye of every scout over the next few years ... Considered the top player in his class by most recruiting services, and has 1st overall pick potential whenever he enters the NBA draft ...

There's talk about Wiggins re-classing in HS. NBADraft.net has Wiggins #1 in 2014. And of course... he's CANADIAN. I'm so stoked about the up-and-coming class of Canadians: Andrew Nicholson, Tristan Thompson, Anthony Bennett, Khem Birch, Kevin Pangos, Myck Kabongo, Andrew Wiggins...

Jabari just eliminated Kentucky from his list and narrowed it down to BYU, Duke, Florida, Michigan State, Stanford.

 

My money is on BYU for a season.

2014 is going to be a huge draft. Sure would like to see us acquire multiple lottery opportunities there. I'm not in favor of tanking most years. But next year is one of those years when I think it would be beneficial to tank....and....also trade away guys that would yield us potential lottery picks or at least the ability to flip spots in the 2014 lottery like we did with the McGrady trade and the Knicks picks. In my opinion, we should make a couple of these rookies look good and then move them for a future first rounder and the ability to swap spots in the 2014 draft.

 

Parker to make his "decision" this upcoming thursday on ESPNU at 3 central.

 

My guess is Michigan State

 

I believe is it's Duke because Parker seems serious about education and out of all those schools Duke is known for academics.

Also word on the streets is that His dad wants him to go to Duke. Should be interesting because we could see a domino affect after Parker's decision.
