They had Troy Murphy and not Eddie Griffin. I know Griffin is inconsistent but come on, I think he deserves more credit.
Murphy is putting up better numbers than Griffin averaging: 11.9 Pts 10.4 rbs .440 % While Griffin has more talent he doesn't deserve to go to the rookie/sophmore game.
Aint this a testament to Griffin's supposed improvement (or a lack thereof) this year from last year? Not in the rookie game last year, not part of the sophs this year.......what else is there to say.???? Troy Murphy hats off to him...... now youve mentioned it is a Griffin-Murphy trade feasible?
Just look at the sophomore team. Who doesn't deserve it more than Griffin? Tyson Chandler Pau Gasol Richard Jefferson Jason Richardson Jamal Tinsley Troy Murphy Gilbert Arenas Tony Parker Andrei Kirilenko
They had to select Chandler or else there would be no centers on the Sophomore team. And if you only compare the PFs, Gasol and Murphy definitely deserves it more than EG.
Chandler is the only selection that could be argued does not deserve it more than Eddie. Murphy is clearly having a better year although I think Eddie is really starting to look a lot better over the course of the last month.
