has it been reported at all what the nature of the illness is? mchale should definitely be there as long as he needs to be, but i wonder if he'll essentially miss the entire remainder of the season now (or even longer)

Glad to hear there has been some improvement. I know how hard it can be.In April My 20 yr old daughter was in a wreck and had to be life flighted.(has since recovered)It's very emotional and becomes the only thing that matters to you in life.As a father your main focus is protecting your children.It can be tough emotionally when you have no control and feel kind of helpless.All you can do sometimes is put it into the hands of the doctors and be there to hold their hand.

I would probably classify as a "youngster" LOL. Although being a parent does give you a certain greater appreciation for what he is going through. I don't think you need to be a parent to understand how important family is you just have to have common sense lol.
