I just hope that if we have to suck, we really suck - and get a very high draft pick.

Inexperience playing with eachother, lack of veterans on the team, lack of defensive intensity, and the team is still learning how they need to play to be successful.

I figured they'd win somewhere between 35 and 40 games this year, and they seem to be on track for that.

Team defense has been woefull. It was bad against the Heat, Lakers and beyond garbage in the second quarter tonight or last night.

    The obvious answer is Morey

He traded/released/amnestied/not re-signed almost the entire team, he filled it with young upside guys and failed to use the available capspace to bring in solid players.

    But thats the plan...

    the team is talented.

    the players are talented.

we played awesome and won against OKL , MEM (pre-season) ATL , almost won from Heat, MEM, DEN, POR ...

    the coaching is awful,

playing Lin as SG, tires our starters, bad rotation, and other big mistakes...

Trading lowry was fanastic because the lottery pick netted us Harden. Scola being amnestied means we can now sign a max free agent to pair Harden with an allstar next season. Morey's moves are calculated.

The management for hiring the wrong coaching staff for this group of players...or for recruiting players that donĀ“t fit in the coaching system?!!! The team has talent and the players are coachable in comparison with many other NBA teams. Obviously this coaching staff is unable to get the max out of the group. Change it Morey!!

Who is that max free agent who will get this team to competing. It has to be either a power forward, since Parsons is actually playing decently. I don't see that player on the horizon right now. We need someone like Aldridge or Love, and it's hard to see how we'll be able to land them.

Our coaches are terrible. We have talent and guys that play hard. We're lucky we played Detroit twice.

Maybe its ourselves for expecting anything more than the result of a young team with little to no chemistry. Not saying that us fans are at fault for the poor start. I'm just saying a poor start can only be considered a poor start by someone expecting any other result other than poor. Its not like we didnt have any reason to believe it be better than this. We landed Lin and Harden, two players that were really good and popular last year. We also had a huge arsenal of young players who had more ??? than answers but thats what made it exiting. How will they play? will they be good? will they be stars?.... Out of all those rookies and young players one has to be good right?.... Well, so far alot has gone wrong. Question is who will be to blame for turning this poor start around....

this... we're a. young tam so expect a lot of errors, this is part of the growing pains, though we are losing and playing awful, I still like the direction, we've seen the amazing double double machine we have in Asik, and we now see the errors of Harden and Lin, which would eventually be fixed, again, this is a very young team, the losses and the heartbreaks it entails would only make them stronger

LOL @ people blaming the coaches.

You can't make chicken salad out of chicken ****. Rockets have one borderline all-star player in Harden and a bunch of D-League quality players surrounding him. This team will not win more than 35 games max, not even with Phil Jackson or Rudy T coaching.

I totally agree. It is as if the coaches don't have any scouts on the Houston rocket payroll. Haven't they seen how Tony Douglas played in the past year? I picked the coaches to blame for they can't even figure out TD has no value.
