    It's Eddie Johnson, the gunner for Phoenix, Seattle and Houston.
    Not the American Soccer player.

    Not that one. There was a guy also named Eddie Johnson. Played for the Hawks I believe.

    Our EJ played for Seattle and Phoenix.

    True story:

    My senior year of college, I was writing a thesis on the Continental Basketball Association and got to spend a week with the Fort Wayne Fury. At that time, the Fury's star player was Moochie Norris. (Coincidentally, about a week after I went back to Austin, the Rockets called Moochie up on his first 10-day contract with them; and the rest is history.)

    Well, the Fury also featured (future Rocket) Juaquin Hawkins. At one practice, Hawkins jokingly challenged me to a game of one-on-one. I didn't have my basketball shoes on (just sneakers and a weak ankle), but I accepted.

    The game ended in a 3-3 tie before coach Keith Smart (yes, the current head coach of the Sacramento Kings) called practice to session.

    Yes, Hawkins wasn't playing seriously. But it's the one time I can tell people that I played a professional basketball player to a draw. ;)

    No, seriously, that's really awesome. Hawkins and Torres weren't so bad for us as many would have you believe. I didn't mind having them around, even though we were really awful then.

    Every hardcore fan was first a bandwagoner. It's a journey, not a teleportation. Some will get there and some will take a different turn. New fans happen and you want that otherwise there will eventually be no more fans.

    Why are you getting so worked up over it? If they want to bandwagon, let them. It doesn't affect me and my passion for the Rockets. It's like those people who say "I liked this band/song before you did." Let's not fret over trivial things like this and just enjoy our team in peace.
