not a good move on morey's part on cutting him... douglas is not a point guard... we have no backup considering machado cant run the offense

Toney Douglas was the MAIN reason why the Knicks were underachieving last year when we all were watching their record because their pick last year belong to Houston and then Linsanity came along and turn the Knicks around. The Rockets need to play Terrence Jones more over Morris and the Rockets need a different back up PG.... I was a bit surpise when Douglas made the final cut....

I wish we could get Livingston back.

Could have had our version of the Detroit Bad Boys 3 guard rotation of

    Thomas-Dumars-Johnson

Lin-Harden-Livingston would have been a great weapon

It won't matter either way once they dump Douglas in favor of Machado. Might have to happen sooner than they hoped though.

Maybe, maybe not. But Morey's philosophy is to remain flexible so he can pull the trigger at any moment.

Douglas complements Harden, he can shoot and play D. Machado, not so much.

I was against the Livingston cut too, but this rotation makes too much sense, both fiscally and on the court:

    Lin-Harden, Harden-Douglas, Lin-Delfino/Cook

Not a good move based on Toney Douglas's play last night. He was just miserable to watch. Going 0-5, not to mention losing his dribble. On a good note, I don't think he can play much worse than last night.

Kinda torn on this one....if it made more sense financially no doubt we should have kept him over either Douglas or Machado. I think he fits great with this current roster and system

Now the next move should be getting rid of Cook.

With our lack of bench scoring Harden and Lin will be logging a lot of minutes, plus injuries are always possible as well. It would be nice to have a solid ball handler on the floor should both of those guys have to be on the bench. That's where Livingston would help us, and where Douglas wasn't much of a help last night.
