He is 23 and has shown he has the potential to be a top sg in the league. He's already top five (possibly 3) if you look at how he played last year. Kevin Martin was gonna be traded at the trade deadline anyway. We weren't gonna keep him. I liked the two first round picks but in best case scenario, the toronto pick would have been around an 8th pick. Although definitely possible, it's hard to say for sure whether you can find someone with Harden's talent around there. You never know about the Dallas pick, it can pan out or just fizzle. I think that the mavs won't be good for a long time (at least not top 10) but even then, I would do this trade. What else are you going to use the draft picks/assets for? This is as good as it gets. Think about what other players are out there that we can get for these assets. Or alternatively(for the tankers), think about the teams that have been bottom 10 in the lottery and are still going to be there. I was all for tanking before this trade but when we can get a top talent in the league like this, you take the deal.
