Any guarantees on what that nice draft pick would be? We could get a stud franchise player, or another Jeremy Lamb.

And I meant OKC when I asked if Lamb and Martin would push them to win the Finals. I'm doubting it. Nice players, not really difference makers.

Not really sweating the mavs pick or the bobcats pick, we sweat those when we can't land major move like this. Those picks and the players we would have drafted were meant to be parlayed into a move like this. I love players like Parsons and Landry, but they ain't carrying us into the playoffs and beyond themselves.

    You're sweating the small stuff.

    YOLO.

I think Royce White should grow his beard out again and have a beard off with Harden

I really like harden, but I think we gave away far too much for him. To seems like we offered more for Harden than we did for Dwight.

Also, if Im Harden I'd rather have 4 yrs, 56 mil and get to play with Durant and Westbrook in some finals over 1 mil more a year to go to Houston. Seems a little greedy. Would have needed a no trade clause though.

    I don't like it.

As far as ability goes, K-Mart = Harden. He's also in his contract year so we might still lose him. On top of that we gave up Lamb and draft picks.

You guys sure love your potential rather than having sure things.

This is a good move. Daryl gave up essentially draft picks that we weren't going to get back anyways. We lose Lowry but picked up Lin, got a first rounder out of Lowry. Got a 2nd founder out of Lee. Basically took Mcgradys ugly contract and Carl Landry out of Kevin Martin and added our own first round draft pick of this year.

It took awhile to get one solid all-star but Daryl made a good choice, that is, to trade away potential for a proven player.

    Anyone remember Donte Greene?

My initial reaction. Anybody know anything about the other guys that were included in the trade from OKC?

He played like Lebron without the intangibles and with less responsibilities. The guy is NOT max material.

We gave up to much! He most likely will leave and we got rid of our picks

It was a nice haul for OKC, but the Rockets won. These NBA players know their peers better than we do. A star just got traded for a good scorer (but the rockets had been trying to move him anyways), a rookie, and 1 lotto pick, a top 20 protected pick, and a likely high 2nd rounder.

Harden is an elite scorer, Aldrige is a solid low post defender rebounder and cooc is solid

I agree with that, but do we have any evidence of this?
