Same here bro. I'm lookin at the Timberwolves, Hornets, and Brooklyn. And probably Phoenix too, still love Gogi and Scola.
I got the email and laughed. No thanks, I don't need your pity and I don't want any gifts from your **** company. Like I said earlier, eat scroat.
got my free tickets to the game tonight from CSN. Section 114 Row 13. Appreciate it. I wish the Longhorn Network would of done something like that instead of just blacking out longhorn games to everyone around the country. I wish the Texas OU game was blacked out though after i saw that.
There is like 2 games on Longhorn network. So it really wasn't necessary to get it. I couldn't bare watching anymore. I wanted to break my TV.
No kidding. I've had a lot of complaints about the Rockets organization in the past and sometimes I've said it was getting where I was losing interest in the team. But this is seriously the end of my relationship with the Houston Rockets. I'm a Houstonian that pays for a full cable package and I can't watch a Houston basketball team's game on local TV unless I have the right cable provider? Why did my taxes help to buy their new arena? Go to hell, Les. I was a diehard fan from age 5 to age 43 but it's over now. I'm done with this team.
Have things seriously come to that? Incredible. Yet another reason why I'm damned glad to have lived here amongst the glories of that blue speck in Central Texas for over 30 years. LP and NBATV cover the Rocks like a blanket on Time/Warner in Austin. Perhaps you'll get into the theatre scene here at some point in the future, Batman. We could use your talent. Having said that, I hope everyone in Houston gets coverage soon, The situation is beyond absurd. And Batman, you know you'll be jonesin' for your Rockets soon enough. You're too long a fan to walk away now.
Batman, I'm not to where you are just yet. However, if these shenanigans continue into the regular season, we'll see. I pride myself in being logical and objective and able to avoid wild swings of emotion, but I'm about to explode with anger over this. The Rockets have to understand they will pay a price for ticking people off.
It's not like I'm turning my back on a team to which I've been loyal; a team to which I've been loyal is turning its back on me. What you said might be true about my longtime fandom if they actually were "my Rockets" but this is an entirely new team and a nearly new coach whose hire I hated in the first place. The new team might have some great players and they might have some that will turn into great players but I don't have any attachment to them. And I've never rooted for them. Know why? If they put basketball back on, I don't doubt that I'll watch the Rockets sometimes. But I used to be a guy that DVR'ed every game I couldn't watch live and watched them that night as soon as I got home. I didn't miss a game for about 15 straight years even though I often work at night. And believe me when I tell you I will not be that guy anymore.
I sincerely doubt they will care about it or that they will pay a price. Only diehard fans are really pissed that they can't watch the games. And if you check out a game, in person or on TV, you might notice there are rather few diehard fans. The rest will forget all about it. They don't even know it's the preseason. In fact, I barely knew. Know why?
Because you're spending all your time here in the Texan's forum? or maybe it has something to do with the election
