82:47 right now. Can't believe it's the same pistons that whooped Rockets. Tony Parker is cool, 14 pts(7-10) and 9 assists. In terms of PG skills, is he better than Francis? Rockets should learn from Spurs. They play disciplined basketball and everyone knows his role. With only TD + scrubs they are winning more than us. According to Spurs, Pistons and Kings fans, Rockets are the most undisciplined team in the league. Ugly streetball and inconsistent
I like the spurs too, cuz they're well oiled and disciplined, albeit boring and predictable. Probably too disciplined, cuz Pop has his fingers in everything, and probably needs to back off to allow the young uns like Parker and Manu and Jax to grow. They play above their talent level, which means there is a system where everyone knows his role, where parts are interchangeable, that the system is resetable in case of a broken play, etc, etc, etc, and etcetera. On the other hand, it is unfair to compare them to the Rockets, who are on the whole an untested team. The rockets need to play together a bit longer, go deep in the playoffs for years, and install a real offense. They need to develop their young players (eddie and Ming the Merciless) phase out useless players, bring in enforcers, etc, etc. ~heretic~
Bateer got 15 min and pretty productive with those min. but wassup with his foul? he seems always in foul troubles
Starting Monday the Spurs play 9 straight road games till like Feb. 18 cause of the SA Livestock Show and Rodeo at the SBC Center. To do that yearly has got to suck.
Didn't the Jazz play like 15 straight road games due to the Winter Olympics in SLC? That probably sucked. Accept they did well on the road. Where was the Spurs discipline when they lost to Memphis a few days back?.
No, parker is in no way better than francis, also not in pointguard skills, damn the spurs shot 61,1% what is the highest FG% in a game ever by a team?
