his screen and pass sequence with Delfino was nice too, sadly Delfino didn't make the shot.

Btw, that running jump hook = straight out of yesterday's Valanciunas' highlights. Except Valanciunas made it.

He was ridiculously fast and in control when he ran that fast break himself.

I got him mixed up with Parsons there for a second seeing how fast he was.

Nice work D-mo... looks like he's developing. I can see why Mchale wasn't too upset after the game. Getting D-mo involved and on a good path was important and you can see he isn't a bust after all. The kid has speed, moves, height, intelligence and can use both hands. Love what he's bringing to the table.

It's really amazing the kind of talent we got with Dmo and Jones, so late in the draft..

I didn't watch the game, but it looked like Dmo was playing PF most of the time.

Motiejunas needs to quit wasting time on fancy Euro post up dance moves and hit the weight room and the dinning hall like a real NBA man. You can't spell "NBA" without "AMERICAN."

I wasn't able to see the game, but it's great to know that he performed well.

    this.

he needs to put on about 25lbs of muscle. he was being pushed by the spurs like a little child. some even pushed him around with one arm. he runs the floor ok, still needs to work on conditioning. he currently has one of those moves that will be studied by opponents, so hopefully he works on more post moves and isnt that easy to predict. the good thing is he is young, tall and smart. all this can be thought, so he'll be fine but I am not sure how well he will make it in the NBA

Exactly. And not only does he need 25lbs of mucle, he also needs 15 lbs of fat, 20 lbs of bones, 13.5 lbs of connective tissues and 5 lbs of various internal organs. In sum, he needs to gain 78.5 lbs.

To be fair, however, DMo had stomach flu at the start of training camp and the resulting diarrhea probably caused a 10 lb loss in terms of fecal matter. This is why he looks skinny.

Gaining muscle could have terrible consequences.

Remember how agile Yao was when he first came in the league? And how durable he was? He was iron man his first couple of seasons and didn't miss a game, but when he started putting on weight he started getting injured.

I'm not opposed to the idea of D-Mo gaining some weight, but when you are a 7 footer it's not always a good idea, especially since 7 footers are usually more injury prone.
