I don't know what the deal is with Lin, but the more he plays, the worse he looks. No need to worry though,Clutch kiddies because it is the exact opposite for your man Machado.
We already know he is going to make the team(yes he will make the team ). Now i think it is time we saw more of him before the season starts. He will spend some time in the d-league,but that doesn't matter. Count him up as another steal for the team.
I am sure the Jeremy Lin that we all expected to see will show up eventually, but until then, we should all get a healthy dose of Machado. Imo, Douglas shoud not play much more in the offseason. He has shown that he belongs. The rest of the offseason should be run by Machado and Lin. Mostly Machado since Lin already has the starting gig.
I know there are a lot of Lofs here. Machado has looked more or equally impressive than Lin. You have to give props when they are due.
Time to clean that "dirty stache";):p.

Sense we are tanking, Lin should go ahead and sit out until his knee is 100% and he can hit a jumper.

Scotty 2 Hotty might have a good offensive game but people here are still gonna bring him down for his defensive efforts. Doesnt make sense though since there were other players on the team before who sucked on D.. I trust Scotty will be good for the Rockets though.

Scotty 2 Hotty!! I likes, i likes!! Its true his defence needs work. He will have time to work on that in the d-league and as the season progresses. The sad part is Lin needs to work on his D as well:(.

It is a little to early to come to any conclusive statements on anything. It's pre-season.

Lin played ok the first two games and played like **** this game. Don't really care though its the preseason and Lin is trying to get back to NBA shape.

Yeah, he'll be sent to the d-league probably in mid-december and probably play 10-14 games then the Rockets will bring him back before the the trade deadline. It doesn't mean it is a bad thing though. He was a good pick up by the Rockets either way even if he never gets put into rotation. He'll still play during practice.

LOL, would you expect anything else?

It's pre-season but Machado has been playing well on offense.

Machado sucks on defence. Can't shoot and goes up against other d-league players at the end of the preseason and you are saying he is better than Lin. Really? He gets a lot of assists because he runs the up-tempo at the end of the game because everybody else is tired and he has just checked in. His half-court sets and possessions are well below average. He has a lot to improve on.

Hey, i am Lin fan. But what coach bad is saying is true. Please read carefully what he says vs judging him by his id. He is not saying machado is better than, fact is, he is hoping Lin will be back in shape. Fact is fact, no matter what are the circumstance, machado contributes better than Lin. I am just doing the eyeball test and maybe someone may disprove me by posting the +/-.
I am really disappointed with the Lin I seeing the past 3 games. It is not the Lin i am expecting. I can call bad is bad, good is good. But for the past 3 games, machado = good. Lin = bad or maybe below my expectations.

Seriously, what is happening with Lin?

I think Lin's knee is worse than projected. He doesn't have the quick first step anymore and he is tentative in attacking the paint. I don't know if it's mostly mental but I'm thinking it's a combination of both mental and physical that is affecting his game. He needs to play limited minutes or his knee will break down. You do not want a Derrick Rose situation happening.

Some of you guys are the worse... I can't imagine how you guys react if Scotty had a 1-10 2 assist statline in 24 minutes.. double standards are the worse.
