Really tacky man. Unprofessional. Gimmicky. Bush league. Stern forces players to wear suits on the sidelines but they can put Mr. Pringles face on jerseys now?

Exactly. Wear suits. Cover up that tattoo. Oh btw, can you have your tailor sew this Walmart patch on to your sleeve?

Haha, I immediately thought about the "SONY" in front of Juventus's jerseys when I saw this. However, the flopping is way way worse than today's soccer, as you get penalized for a yellow card (like a T) in soccer, if the ref believes you are flopping inside the "paint". I wish NBA can introduce something like that.

    PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i want to start an all-corporate basketball team. since corporations are people, i'd like to see a 12-man corporation roster, and then watch them play ball.

    I'm not surprised.

Everything that made the NBA popular, fun, and cool is gone.

    **** it.

As much as fans complain, I doubt it affects their decisions to attend a game, buy concessions, or watch a game on TV. So it seems like a no-brainer to me. The only thing they need to worry about is whether jersey sales would be impacted by having ads on them. And, since an advertiser would be willing to spend a lot of money to have those jersey-wearers help market them, sales would have to be seriously impacted by the change to make this not worth the NBA's while. I seriously don't expect it will hurt sales much in the long-run, so it's a total win for the league.

I'd guess it would help sales if the jersey sponsors change often with fans wanting a current jersey.

So tacky. Seems like it would be better if they just toned down on the salaries. You should have to earn your money, not play well for 1/4 a season and then be handed 25 million dollars.

The annoying part is, no matter how much money they bring in they will NEVER lower the seat prices.

And then they wonder why no one's going to games. Just like they wonder how they're losing money when they're giving Gilbert Arenas and Rashard Lewis ungodly amounts of money.

Not sure if anyone brought this up, and I know the NBA (Stern) has been contemplating this for a few years. Interesting how it is to come into play after the CBA deal has come into effect. I wonder if this counts toward the revenue stream, of if there is a loophole where the owners and league can get all the revenue and it not count towards salary cap increases.

    That's a legit question right?
