    Lowry had 7 when he was here in TC.
    Carmelo had 7 in NY
    Lin now has 7 here.

    He likes #7. 7 was taken here his first time around, so he chose #17. Same deal in NY. Lowry and Melo has his number. Lowrys gone now, so he picked it up.

    7 was the number the Mavs gave him in the summer league. He vowed if he made it in the NBA he would keep the number 7.

    Now that is hilarious. Usually the "Welcome back" is for someone who had an impact the last time he was there. The last time Lin was with the team, they treated him as a scrub and cut him while choosing to keep Captain Flynn.
