Doesn't this clear a little cap room ... $1.Xm. Did the Celtics have a TPE. Also, why would a Celtics 2nd round pick be better than a 2011 27th pick? Big guys need some development time.
He's on the skinny side but is 6'10 with crazy hops and length. When can he be traded again is the real question.
Clearly the celtics are also throwing in a few non-guaranteed contracts to make more cap-room for the Rockets. Based on salary, probably 3 million.
So a quality player like Lee is worth this scrub? I told you guys Morey doesn't have a clue what he's doing.
Relax Fans...I am just collecting assets. I will be sending the Celtics pick to Orlando just to sweeten the deal. Besides I needed a replacement to back up D-Mo and Jones when 2-Pat gets sent to Orlando. Please tweet your love to JaJuan Johnson and show him how much we appreciate him.
its better than losing lee for nothing theres more to this deal, give it alittle bit for the rest of the details to emerge
Yeah, but some guys just suck. Johnson is one of those guys. Also can't combine TPE with players. There are more players coming our way. This isn't a cap room saving move. We're actually taking on salary here. If we wanted cap room we simply would have let Lee walk.
You're an idiot. We weren't getting Lee. We did a sign and trade to facilitate the player and other team. The extra player was just payment for our helping.
For anyone whose wondering, he's not undersized. He's a legit 6'10 w/t a 7'2 wingspan - 38 max vert. - 12'1.5 max vertical reach (he can get up for a big guy) http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/JaJuan-Johnson-5307/ Former 1st round pick. He can log in some minutes at the 5 spot. He's an overall good asset.
has to be more players coming back to the Rockets. Doesn't work just for Johnson since Boston is over the cap.
