    Lin isn't a asset really. Morey and Les loves Asian player espcially if they're good. cause china and etc. Will be so tight if Yao comes out of retirement and plays with him...=) Be really a playoff contender..if he did Lin/Kmart/lamb/Parson/Dmo/Yao and our bench. Douglas/Lamb/Jones/white/Asik if so. Lol...love it

    When he plays against the Knicks, he will get cheered on by their fans. He didn't leave, Knicks made hime leave. NY Knicks just keeps bad players in Othella Harrington, Allan Houston, Glen Rice, Shannon Anderson, Howard Eisely, Clarence Weatherspoon, Penny Hardaway, , Nazr Mohammed, Tim Thomas, Keith Van Horn, Jamal Crawford, Eddy Curry, Jalen Rose, Quentin Richardson, Zach Randolph, Al Harrington, Larry Hughes, Chris Duhon, Steve Francis and Tracy McGrady.

    It certainly would. If they were to land Asik and go with what they've go tthis season, the team would look something like this:

    Asik/Harrellson/Jordan
    Motie/Patterson/Jones/Leuer
    Parsons/White/Morris
    Martin/Lamb
    Lin/Douglas/Fortson

    After Martin comes off the books next year, they would only have about $26M on the books. Lots of options for the team going forward.

    Have the Rockets really gotten worse this offseason? Think about what is gone and what they've added. They have the potential to be better, especially if they get Asik.

    Why does espn keep saying 15 million is a lot for lin? we are not paying 15. we are paying 8 a year.

    right? maybe they are just trying to make the rockets look stupid.

    Well, I believe we'll be paying him $15 mil in that 3rd year, but the cap hit for the Rockets will only be $8 mil, which is the important thing for team management purposes.
