I think most of us knew that the mchale hiring was a downgrade. Hes not a coaching specialist in anything, some may say low post teaching but i have yet to see that in hasheem, patterson or any other of our bigs (former).
Well he cost us the playoffs with his terrible lineups at the end of the season, eventually resulting in the dismantling of the team and all of my favorite players, so yeah **** him
Last time I checked, its not like Adelman was setting the world on fire the last few years here. Similar winning percentage to McHale this year. Adelman also had Minnesota behind the Rockets in the standings most of the year last year even before Rubio was injured and they still had Love after that. McHale is doing a solid job. Give him a chance before you throw him under the bus.
That is the beauty of the ignore list......half of this thread was already on it so it is mostly a bunch of "this person is blocked".
Would anyone really want McHale over Adelman or JVG? Adelman has shown that he is totally open to rebuilding a team and he could be rebuilding the Rockets instead of the Timberwolves. McHale's coaching last season led the Rockets to an epic collapse and cost us an easy playoff birth. What was it 6th to 9th place... pathetic coaching.
The guy has coached 1 short season with almost no practice time at all. It's not like Adelman did anything special with this team the last two years he was a coach here.
Huh? You mean a hard time getting Asik and Lin? You do know that Dragic's first choice was Houston.. Correct? Minnesota got Batum because they are offering him nearly $50,000,000 over 4 years. What else have they done as far as signing free agents? Could it be because Minnesota has Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio, and the Rockets have Patrick Patterson?
Name one free agent who wasn't already a Rocket who we offered a contract to this year who went elsewhere. Can we possibly get a "Official Stupid Threads" thread and merge all of these in one place?
