    Why you got any?

there's a lot to like about Jeremy Lin. Living on the east coast, i was forced to watch plenty of Knicks games last year. I didn't want to believe Linsanity was real. Not only was it hard to watch a guy we cut have so much success, but his success was killing the value of our knicks draft pick. I wanted to believe Jeremy Lin was a fluke. But the more i saw of him, I had to come to grips with the fact that Jeremy Lin is a good player, and has, dare i say, a little Stockton in him. His court vision is what separates him from average players. He's already seeing the court better as a rookie, than many point guards do their entire career. He needs to take care of the ball better, and he needs to stay healthy, but with the right development, he'll be a perannial top 10 pg in the NBA.

would i have liked Dragic back? yes. But Jeremy Lin is our starter now, and there's a lot to be excited about.

I'd prefer Fortson over Lin. Lin will create 10 easy points for opponent with his live turnovers on night in night out basis.

LOL Your boy Fortson is averaging more turnovers than points in the summer league.

What court vision? I'm pretty sure he didn't use it much. He is shoot first player. Not point guard, because he doesn't really know how to run team. And yes it was a fluke. He didn't even play so well in that winning streak against non playoff teams, he certainly wasn't the most important Knicks player.

He only had 2 turnovers so far. If you are going to be bad, be at least cheap.

Lets all quit arguing with Sigmund. Anyone who chooses Fortson over Lin is ignorant and isn't worth talking to.

Tommy Beer: Per @Marc Berman - NY will NOT match Lin, in part b/c they felt Lin deceitfully shared in-house info w/ Houston: http://nyp.st/PZ40hU

He wanted a player option after the 3rd year. It's the same thing as having Lin on the 3-year deal we signed him to.

Morey should've given Goran the money. I think (but don't know) that the reason may have been that the Dwight talks had not gone to the point where Morey knew more of what he was looking at in terms of amnestying Scola and swallowing salary.

I said then and I still believe it, Morey should have given Goran his money.

Hopefully, Lin will continue to improve. I like the kid a lot. I liked him when he was in the draft, wanted to get him then. He's got a tremendous bball brain, and watching him and Dwight in the PnR is going to be very fun.

To the poster that says his shooting mechanics are better than Goran's, you don't know what you're talking about. However, he is a couple years of bball development behind Goran. I think he's going to get better. And to the posters that think he's as good a defender as Goran....that's laughable. But it might not be so critical with Dwight cleaning up the messes for us.

Yeah, I think its becoming clear that that Lin doesn't want to be in New York. Knicks fans have been saying it since the contract news broke. It's true.

Btw just to be clear. Fortson has scored only 35 points in 10 career games.

Lin got that and some in ONE game.

While avg 17 and 8 during his stretch. Prob the most illogical thing i have ever seen.
