Morey can pretty much pull role players out of thin air. We have enough. We've had enough for years. We need a star. Morey's getting one. Morey will easily be able to find goo role players to surround Dwight with. How can anyone be MAD about this?

At 84 pages and counting, it takes too long. If only the forum settings allowed more than 10 posts per page

NO. Morey just needs to wait this out. He's got all the time in the world. No other team in the league can offer what we have and Hennigan is going to realize that sooner or later. Just let them stew on it and the price will drop eventually.

Give them their options. Either we take on a their albatrosses and they get Jones, Patterson or they take all of our young guns with no salary dumping. Just don't let them think they can get the whole for a rental. Don't let them think for a second Morey will allow himself to be Morey'd.

Wilbon says Rockets should go for it. Thinks he will end up with Lakers.

So if Bucher told you that the world was truly ending in 2012, would you believe him?

(of course, you could be sarcastic here too...) LOL

For those of who you think we are giving up too much, keep in mind you were mostly the same people who were willing to give up all 3 first round draft picks anyway, so don't count any of the rookies.

Who else is left? Kevin Martin, nothing but a below average defender and malcontent last season. Dump him.

Patrick Crapperson - strictly a bench guy. Dime a dozen

Chandler Parsons - solid player, but no big deal

all the other flotsam we got in various deals - whatever

Not really that bad a deal, all in all.

Yeah. They said that the rockets need a star because they have had a decent team but not good enough. Empty seats in Toy center we need to fill. He says he's sure Dmorey has a plan. Says we got spoiled by Yao, Hakeem. Dmorey believes he HAS to make the trade. Dhow is best center in the NBA, which is why we are going after him. He says it is good that we are taking a chance on him regardless of what he wants.

Wilbon says that Morey has it figured out and feels like he has to pull this trade to bring a star to Houston and fill the empty seats.

So basically, the Magic want everything that has value on the Rockets for the services of a back-ailing prima donna with a high chance of bolting. Sounds fair.

If anything, with Lin signing the deal and Howard possibly coming to Houston, this could be the turning point where Houston becomes a player destination. I mean, even if we dont get Lin, at least he signed and wanted to be a part of the team. Players know way better about an organization than media and fans do.

The fact is that DM doesn't know what they can offer yet before Wed. Listening to all this rumors is tiring.
