Just last month everyone wanted to trade our 3 draft picks. Now that we used them, clutchfans does what it does best. Not Parsons, he's our superstar! Not Rolls Royce, he's the next LeBron! Not Jeremy Lamb, he could be the best SG in the draft!

Nothing but role players and unproven rookies. Sign me up.

The "Asik not matched, HOU trading everybody but DMo" scenario doesn't make much sense. The team would have little cap room immediately to even sign a competent starting PG and would not have sufficient cap room to land a max FA next season, either (nor any assets with which to trade for one).

Unfortunately, it still is... :( [LOL... Just did a 'refresh' on the article] Why it hasn't gone down yet or not working anymore is beyond me... :(

If the trade isn't what's reported, can we start adding disclaimers with all future ESPN speculations? Ric Bucher has already trolled NBA fans in NY/LA/Houston/Orlando for the past week with his "sources" and now this?

Honestly, done deal signed and delivered to the league for approval before people run with it.

Howard might be the best player in the league, but he isn't a game-changer like someone in the mold of LBJ / KD / Kobe / Wade.

Howard can't take us to the promised land unless he has a sidekick. Especially not if we gut the team for him.

you guys, we are just giving up a whole bunch of scrubs!!!!! have the rookies even scored a single point in the league? has patrick patterson ever won a playoff series for us? has parsons ever been objectively viewed by any of you? honestly?!! you wouldnt give up a semi-decent rookie for the 3rd best, generational, all-NBA, HOF Dwight Howard?!!

Exactly how does a mediocre 32 year old PF with 3 years left on his contract fit on a rebuilding team? If the Rockets can't get Howard, then they have cap room and a roster free of crippling long-term deals.

I'm sure Morey has offered though.

If this deal happens my support for Morey will take a nose-dive.

    Paging BimaThug..

We need a cap expert in here.

It seems they suggest these players because they are the only Rockets on contract. Can we not trade Livingston, Simpson, blah, blah etc..?

Can't imagine they break up the ENTIRE team.. I'm all for paying the steep price to get D12 but if that's what its gonna take.

Gonna need an extension guarantee here.

Clutchfans get attached to their players sadly.

I agree. We where so willing to trade picks and Martin for Howard but now?

I guess Morris is a star waiting to happen too:confused:

If you read the thread title (and article, for that matter), it's talking about a new OFFER submitted. Nowhere does it say anything about a confirmed trade.

No need to kill the messenger.

    :eek::eek::eek::rolleyes::p

    LOL @ "he isn't a game-changer". LOL. JUST LOL.

This dude took him team to the 2009 Finals. You are saying he isn't a game changer? In 2009, Dwight > LeBron.
