Thats all they keep doing is backing away. This guy messed up. The offers are going down from now on. This is not the Knicks he is dealing with like for Carmelo. For Morey and the Lakers the offers go down according to the market/competition or stay the same. It never gets better unless there is leverage. Leverage is being lost by the day now.

He's being handed an impossible situation.

BTW, are you surprised at the Camby trade since our Lin offer upset "one of the most powerful franchises in the league"?

Actually you lose a lot from just not moving on. Dwight is holding this franchise hostage.

Our Roster is right now just a collection of assets that the coach is going to have to sort out if it stays as it is. It's obvious looking at the Roster that a large group of players are to be traded, Rockets IMO need to move on if Orlando is not trading him before the season starts.

They need to fill their 1 and 5 spots and free up space so that they can develop their young players and move on.

Even the almighty Adrian Woj probably got caught off guard, because he was saying this morning that Dwight will likely be traded today too.

Even if you think that, don't say it out loud.

Brian Schmitz: Hennigan also said he spoke with Dwight today and added "there's a chance, yeah" that Howard could return to ORL. Unbelievable. 1 minute ago

To be fair a lot the media were taking Alex Poopsworlds word for it. Then the Magic GM came out and said the opposite live on video.

Hennigan, in a very Sam Presti-like way, does everything he can to call Nets offer junk without actually using the words.

Boom. Hennigan played Brooklyn long enough to fall out of the trade. I wonder if he threatened to send him to Houston like the last GM did and got Dwight to say he wants to stay in Orlando.

Absolutely not. Nothing involving Dwight Howard has stopped this franchise from doing anything it wants to do, other than possibly pursuing guys like Josh Smith, whom will be available after the Howard dust settles anyway. We're not missing out on key free agents, it doesn't affect any of our draft picks. We have all the time in the world.

Then the Magic GM basically said trade talks were going to be suspended for now.
