My goodness WHY is this SO hard to explain!! Dwight will have to walk away from 30 MILLION FREAKING DOLLARS if he leaves Houston. Morey has created enough cap space to go after ANOTHER star AFTER he acquires Dwight, and he believes that Dwight would want to stay here after he plays here. Where would Dwight go?? No team can offer what we can if we get his Bird Rights, and Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, etc would NOT be as attractive as Houston at that point.

Dude. You just answered your own question. It's not like our front office hasn't heard all the Brooklyn-or-bust stuff we have. We're in the discussion because we think there's a decent chance he WILL stay here after the season.

He'd have to walk away from a lot of money, and most of the big teams are too capped out to sign him outright.

Lakers, Rockets, Orlando all win on this. Rockets do not get stuck with nothing after Dwight leaves. Orlando gets what they want and Lakers get Dwight. Do it.

Love the idea of getting Bynum. Want LA to pay through the nose to get Howard. They gave up all their picks to get Nash. They're gonna have to give up a lot more than Bynum. I don't want Houston to do the heavy lifting for LA. And Morey, please find a way to keep Royce White out of this deal!

Dwight any day of the week, but I want an extension... Bynum is willing to sign one.

    Neither. They can't play forward.

It will happen within 24 hours. It has to happen by tomorrow or they can't trade him for another month.

I don't want the invisible man aka Andrew Bynum...he always disappears in the clutch time/games.

Bynum? That dude is going to get ejected like twenty times a season for elbowing other players.

Don't want that headcase anywhere NEAR the Rockets.

Obviously Howard is better skill-wise.. But he doesn't want to play here. I don't want a one year rental. I want a consistent player that will stay, and that's Bynum.
