I'm changing my opinion about this kid.

I really liked him as a freshman. Then last season it just seemed like he loafed around on court, and yes, he appeared lazy, and UConn was a screwed up mess with him and Drummond leading the way. Then at camp, he appeared to me in interviews to be smoking Mary Jane with all his "ummmmm" dopey answers and lazy eyes. Of course, I do admit, I did not know his background like, say, Perry Jones or others.

So, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He does have great talent and an NBA skillset. He is way too thin right now. He is going to get the snot knocked out of him. And I don't know how much he'll come around to in his rookie season. But I think he'll develop and be a very good player. And I take back my comments about him being a lamebrain. I've watched several interviews of him now. He's a lot smarter than I have given him credit for in the past. I like him ok as Scola would say.

And I really like his ability to face up with the dribble, break down his defender and either get to the rim, get off a good looking jumpshot or make a good pass. He does have playmaking ability. And to be an upper echelon SG in this league you have to be able to make plays, not just shoot the bball.

If we cannot get Dwight, I'm ready to dump Lowry and Scola and possibly one youngster (Morris or Patterson) on the Lakers for Gasol. Hopefully re-sign Dragic and run those two out there with Martin and the rest of our kiddos until the trade deadline when we can unload Martin for maximum value. Then turn the SG position over to Lamb and let him learn on-the-job.

Clutch -- "Welcome to Houston, thank you." that was quick and classy after Jeremy answered all your questions...post "I can't believe you [the first reporter] just asked me that."

I hope Lamb doesn't refuse to dance. The last one who refused to dance was a total dud.

I heard he got the lambshake. I also saw him do a move in a clip.

Out of all our rookies, I feel like Terrence Jones and Motiejunas will be the ones unable to bust a move at the rookie dance-off.
