@Jonathan_Feigen: Year of Dragon, or Linsanity? In 25 gms starting, Lin ave 18.2 pts, 7.7 apg, shot 44.5 %. In 28 gms, Dragic, ave 18 pts, 8.4 apg, shot 49%.
Not if you include defense they didn't. Lin was about the same on offense but defensively not even close.
Knixies get Nash; Rox get Lin. Suns get value back. Suns will SnT but Knicks have very little with which to SnT. Enter Lin and the Rox. Knixies/PHX/Rox get together for SnT's of Nash and Lin with pieces going from ToyShop to desert. Bingo: Win-Win-Win. (and Colangelo the younger is the loser)
Jeremy Lin makes the Rockets relevant again in the national media. Once other "stars" see his jersey sells in China and the Peak shoe endorsement that every Rocket seemed to get at one point (Ron Artest lol) Linsanity will be in Houston and if he succeeds others will come..
Lowry was better, before he got the starting job, but he was getting beat pretty easily in the last year or so, it seemed his energy level on defense was much less as a starter than it was as a reserve. Goran's defense was great as a starter - remember how he got under Westbrook's skin? Out of the 3, Dragic is better than all of them in every category, the Rockets should really consider both sides of the ball and go for the best player instead of settling on a guy that can sell tickets, or a guy that has voiced his displeasure about being in Houston to the press.
Judging from all the Knicks game I've watched last season, I can tell you Lin is a pretty good defender.
Making an offer to Lin is useless There is no way the greedy bastid Charles Dolan lets a cash cow like Lin leave NYC...The Knicks will match irregardless of how backloaded the deal is or what cap ramifications it may cause in the future.
How many are going to go to and see lowry as opposed to seeing lin? I'm sure that our attendance numbers will dramaticlly increase.
Marc Berman @NYPost_Berman Robert Randolph's tweet looks right. #Knicks closing in on Steve Nash in sign and trade with Phoenix. Nash to Knicks should be finalized by midday today...
I could see Toronto offering 4yr/36Mil for Lin if they miss out on Nash..They've got some money to spend..
Interesting development. Goran and Lin are hot commodities now. Look out for Dallas and Toronto swiping them away. We must atleast get 1of them. Also, it looks like Toronto signed Fields for nothing. Hopefully our Arenas contracts work.
Goran's D isn't much better than Lin's if it is even better. Lin had an outrageous amount of steals and blocks for a guard.
Knicks fans do not seem happy over the possibility of losing Lin. Based on my quick read, many prefer Lin to Nash.
the good teams get better while the rockets sit back and watch , signs of a mediocre not trying to get better
i wonder what the knicks have to offer the suns in a S&T. anyway with dragic asking for too much, and negotiations falling apart, AND with lowry still wanting to leave (and probably being traded before training camp), the rox need a legit starting PG. lin is the youngest out there, and someone who can grow with the team.
woodson is a defensive minded coach. Lin is a solid defender. nash would've been great a year ago when they still had d'antoni.
