Lin puts butts in seats. My guess is this the man they bring back. I think it happens. Maybe Knicks match us for that exact reason too. Even if the contract the Rockets give Lin is outrageous.

    No, you're so full yourself.

Lowry was ballin out of control before his injury. He was a top 10 fantasy players for most of the year. Your usual bias on anything related to Lowry is prevalent.

He was hot for a while, but he also started out slow and ended slow as well.

He was hot for a 25ish game stretch.

Sorry you can't handle the truth... !

    YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT !

I'd prefer Dragic over Lowry but this is just incorrect. Lowry prior to his injury was playing out of his mind and he was nearly voted in as an All-Star reserve.

Where are you getting that he doesn't have a midrange game? I'm not even challenging you on it I just want to know if you're basing your conclusion on stats or personal observation.

Here's the best I could find.

    Jeremy Lin

10-15 feet: 48.3% ,14th among point guards who have played more than 10 games

16-23 feet: 43%, 17th among point guards who have played more than 10 games

Based upon about 25 games - he was hot, sort of like Dragic....and it is how he won the starting job, he got hot.

But he has not sustained it over a year, and his averages fell off last year as well.

I haven't read all 22 pages, but this is a joke, right? We aren't really offering him the same contract as the team allegedly offered Dragic, are we? Has the franchise gone completely bonkers??

Everyone here takes Lowry's injury into consideration, but completely dismisses Lin's. Lol.

The whole Lowry jacked up bad 3s thing is just a myth. He shot 37.6% and 37.4% from the arc during the last 2 years. For the most part, those are very efficient shots that you want him to take.

Also, a supposedly "non-attacking" Lowry averaged 4.2 FTA per game vs. 10.9 FGA and 6.4 2-PT FGA. This is a good ratio of fouls drawn vs. shots attempted, which cannot be achieved if you don't attack.

Seems it's all based on one tweet by Jonathan Feigen. Not sure how reliable he is but if he's wrong and Rockets offer much less money I'd assume people here wouldn't be as negative and they don't just flat out hate Jeremy Lin.

It's all pointless anyway. Knicks are going to match.

I just don't see things being rekindled with Lowry at this point.

I guess at the end of the year yeah, but he was fine at the beginning where the team struggled out of the gate and so did he.

This reminds me of the time some girl rejected me, but then I worked out and dated a lot of hot chicks, got a great reputation in bed, and the same girl begged me to come back offering me all the sex I wanted and a drama-free relationship because she's changed.
