Wont happen. They threw a coach under the bus to keep Cousins happy. Do you really think they would part with him now? Cousins is a king for as long as they can keep him on his rookie contract.

You are probably right. Not knowing how Sac's brass really see Cousins's prospects for maturation-- whether they see him as a work in progress with high potential, or as a hopeless, lazy knucklehead-- I cling to hope we might snag him for McHale and Camby's teachings with some sort of offer too good to refuse. If only we had that... I've read Sac's not too delighted with Francisco Garcia's high pay-to-performance ratio. Maybe we could help them with that bad contract... Maybe Kyle, Dalembert, 14 + 16... We really need some shot blockas behind that porous D we run with. The Cousins and Camby committee would welcome all comers to the paint!

this would my dream offseason. I think however Scola or PAT would be moved to NOLA cause Gordon and Martin are the same position.

If Harden keeps struggling in what remains of this series, I wish Morey would go hard after him:

Kyle Lowry+14th Pick+16th Pick+Dallas Pick for Harden works salary wise. This would give the Rockets an elite scorer. It would provide OKC with financial relief (the picks won't get paid much for 4 years, Lowry has 2 more years on the contract while Harden has one more year before free agency). OKC a Lowry+Westbrook backcourt should be great offensively since both guys can drive, dish, and play off the ball. Both also have the size and strength to cover the 2.

Maybe noh would not want Martin since they have Gordon. So maybe we can do a three way with Minnesota. Martin going to the wolves for 18 and williams. We then trade Williams and Dalembert for okafor and 10. Draft the best available pg at 18 and Zeller at 10.

    So

    Dragic 18th
    Beal lee
    Parsons cbud Morris
    Scola patpat
    Okafor zeller

    Dragic/Wroten
    Beal/lee
    Parsons cbud Morris
    DMO/Scola/patpat
    Okafor/Camby/ zeller

Yes Please.... Someone get Morey on the phone.

"The Hawks are said to be one team placing calls to improve their draft position. They currently own the No. 23 pick. One GM said the Hawks floated the names of both Josh Smith and Marvin Williams as potential trade chips. FOXSportsOhio"

Please make this happen. I want Smith.

Do you really think Lee will resign after we draft Beal? If Lee can't be our starting SG next season, he will not resign. BTW, you have too many (potential starting) SF's anyway.

Trade Lowry + Dalembert (prior to the guarantee on his contract so Atlanta can elect to release him if they want to) + the #16 pick for Josh Smith. Atlanta fills a need at PG with a quality player under a bargain-basement contract, fills another need at C if they keep Dalembert (Horford is more of a PF, lets him slide in to his natural position) who is an upgrade over Pachulia.

We get an all-star caliber SF who is a game changer defensively, someone who has openly talked about wanting to play for the Rockets and could spend the prime of his career here, as we would retain his bird rights in 2013.

I've got it... the perfect 5 team trade

    ATL out: Horford, Johnson
ATL in: Dwight Howard, Kevin Martin

HOU out: Lowry, Martin, Scola, Dalembert, Budinger/Morris, 14th pick, 16th pick
HOU in: Al Horford, Pau Gasol, rights to Brad Miller (retiring)

    LAL out: Gasol
LAL in: Luis Scola, Luke Ridnour, Marcus Morris/Chase Budinger, 16th pick

    MIN out: Ridnour, Miller
MIN in: J.J. Reddick, Quentin Richardson

    ORL out: Howard, Reddick, Richardson
ORL in: Joe Johnson, Kyle Lowry, Sam Dalembert, 14th pick

Yes it's a trade that makes sense for everyone. Yes, I realize it's not the best trade for both LAL and ORL, but I think both teams' hands are severely tied. No it's not even close to realistic.
