I always love this comment. This song is just another contribution to the devolution of music. It's a perfect recipe: just get enough promotion, and the empty "catchiness" will lull the masses away from the millions of better songs out there.
It's a catchy piece of pop music. And I like that the main instrumental hook are strings instead of a generic synth preset patch which seems to be typical nowadays. Yeah it might be fake or sampled too but at least they went for a natural sound. Anyways there's always been bubblegum pop songs. Let's not act like mainstream hits have always been some artistic masterpiece up until recently. But nothing is more annoying then watching other people act goofy in front of a camera, as if it's actually funny or entertaining to anyone but themselves. Save it for your home video collection.
You dare deny the majesty of Mmmbop? Tubthumping? Mickey? Hollaback Girl? Photograph? Animals? Pokerface? Who Let The Dogs Out? My Humps? Blue Da Ba Dee? I Whip My Hair Back And Forth? Artistic masterpieces.
I keep picturing Chris Paul slowly spinning and falling. "Hey we barely touched, And this is crazy, But call it maybe?"
The song made its way to the White House.... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hX1YVzdnpEc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
There's nothing wrong with catchy pop songs. The only thing that sucks is that some incredibly talented bands out there can't break through because the machines are so busy promoting BS manufactured "stars" out of the Disney pipeline. You've got to be an undeniable grassroots force like Mumford or Avett to succeed, and that's sad in this day and age.
Love this song. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/00yKww_BQ2I" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
After going a few places and hearing this played so often and so much, it's definitely annoying now. Thought it was a little catchy at first, but it's most certainly not anymore.
I'm liking it more now for some reason... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/FIfbghHdG1s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
funniest thing I seen so far with this song <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hX1YVzdnpEc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
is it that hard to lip sync? i mean why does it look that obvious? maybe they should just sing it as they are making these videos..instead of pretending.
