I think Lee is going to walk because someone is going to overpay Dragic/??? Gonna need that Lee & Dally money to sign Dragic That team will make the playoffs and might go far. Everyone will know their position on the team. Four of the starters could average 20+ ppg next season. Parsons and Smith are lock down defenders. Gasol can handle the paint and block/change shots. Dragic is a-not-quite-all-star level PG. Martin has averaged 20+ ppg over the last 6 seasons. His defense is below average, but with the paint protected and Parsons and Smith roaming around he would be covered. The team is at the cap. Martin comes off the cap after next season. Gasol the following season. The draft after Davis is just potential. Potential is a very expensive word. Moving up in the draft is investing more resources into a possible bust.

Lewis is in his final year, Scola has 3 years left. The wizards view lewis expiring as an asset not a cancer. No way Wiz trade their pick. If anything they might try to move NeNe if he is unhappy in DC, but they wont know that until the trade deadline. So cross the Wizards off the list as trade partners.
1) Give Lowry + #14 to Portland for #6 + #11. 2) Package 6, 11, 16 + Martin + whatever other fillers for Dwight (+ maybe a bad contract). 3) Sign Deron or Resign Dragic. 4) Resign Lee Instant contenders.
I like all this until the second part of two. Dwight without a long term deal already in place is a liability. I would not mind 6.Barnes 11.Jones 16. Zeller then offer a near max (same figure as offered to NENE) deal to Hibbert. Have Indy match or have him walk. I just don't know if you can really pull Dwight without a bad contract, if possible I agree it would be great. Indy is going to match any offer for Hibbert, there is no way they are letting him walk. I feel like besides Barnes, we are just collecting more role players. Barnes also I feel is 95% chance of being a role player (Marvin Williams type), but he gives me a little hope as someone to build around. Last thing Rockets need are more role players, we need to parlay picks and players into a great player, or else blow this bad boy up, and just collect picks, and tank.

With a draft as deep as this, and with the issues we currently have (Lowry's attitude, Scola's Age, Martin's form) We should definitely be looking to rebuild through this draft.
