Also the bills drafted a kicker with their 7th round pick, so who knows if they would have selected the aggie kicker in the 6th round before us, so I think the texans did good about drafting him in late 5th round.
Winning kicker of the year isn't much of an indication for future success. Interesting note....this year had the most place kickers drafted since 1993.
It gets even better (I think) : The guy that committed to the Cougars shared kicking duties at his high school with Kris Brown's younger brother (Brown went to the same high school).
Also, why didn't we draft this Greg Zuerlein kid? 9/9 on 50+ with a long of 58 yards. 23/24 for the entire year. Pretty damn good.
