I'm not one to complain about announcer favoritism very often, but you are dead on. They talked way too much about the Knicks and treated the Hawks like an afterthought.
David Stern and the NBAPA aren't the only reasons we currently have a 6-team league. The media and the casual fan only follows the big market which perpetrates ignorance of the other 24 teams, and more concentrated player movement, which only furthers the vicious cycle. The next era of NBA basketball can't come soon enough IMO.
