Dragic is awesome and so is lowry.
Parsons develops a shot and you have a white batum in the making, it took batum a couple of years to get his offensive game on track.
All you need now is D mo to pan out.

it's not like the average age is 40 years old.

    I'm not even mad anymore.

This feels way worse than when I first started following Rockets in the late 90s. Sure, we won 30 games a year, but we had stars on the rise, we had lottery picks, we had great coaching. We had hope.

When a fan loses all hope about the team and its future, it's a sadder state to be in than anger and rage. For when you're angry, it shows that you care. I'm far removed from the angry stage. Now, I only feel despair, because no matter how much I care, in the end it doesn't matter one bit. No playoffs. 14th pick. Rinse. Repeat. For the foreseeable future. Perpetual mediocrity. There is no hope.

Most of our players played hard, but in this league, it takes a lot more.

I really hope this guy pans out to be as good as advertised. Rox REALLY need a legit, athletic big with offensive game in the worse way.

I call bull****.......this is a team going nowhere fast.

I remember back when we beat the Lakers a user on here posted a comment from a lakers fan site that asked what was the point with teams like the Rockets. They can get occasional victories over better teams but they aren't good enough to contend but not bad enough to get draft picks.

I agreed with him then as I do now.........absolutely pointless.

I have to agree, I don't really know the sense of direction although it seems they are trying with the Camby move and the bogged trade for Gasol etc.

At this point of the season...
I'd have to agree with you at least we would have a high pick to look forward to

I am afraid you are right. You need two near superstars to compete for a title and the Rockets have a roster full of journeymen. Further, they are not big or physical enough to compete.

Considering the blocked Scola/Martin Gasol trade, the Rockets played pretty well in stretches, but they have been exposed this last two weeks and will exit the playoffs quickly in the slim event they get the 8 seed.

On a positive side, Parsons was a surprise and Dragic and Lee were fun to watch in stretches.

The Rox really need to find a low post scorer next year.

Hey, we might get the 13th pick this year. That would be a nice change!

    Seriousy guys.

Bill Worrell is just as frustrated as the fans on here and anyone who consistently listens to the broadcast knows it. He tries real hard to be positive, and on nights like tonight has to remind himself that this team as currently constructed had ZERO expectations going into this season.

You can hear the pain and frustration in his voice nightly and honestly I dont think he can last that much longer in this business because he is such a great fan along with being an excellent play by play broadcaster. Loosing takes alot more out of him then almost any other broadcaster Ive heard on other networks.

He ultimately is a Rockets employee and tries his best to create a positive outlook on this team, but if you think he's full of it you are out of your mind. Give the guy a damn break.

They are a young team, but they are also a team whose ceiling is not very high due to the fact that they have no players with superstar potential or even All-star potential.

Mediocrity -- the Houston Rockets define that word.

Superstars are what win in this league. We don't have one or have any way to get one. End of story.

Well, you have to admit, before the season started, they were not predicted to do much at all. They did play hard, and showed some nice staying power for the majority of this short season. But reality had to set in. When you don't have a superstar on this team or at least an All-Star, then you're not going to win many games when things get tight. Like I said, and I've said this many times, the Rockets front-office is terrible. They are so short-sighted. They could have had Rudy Gay, they get rid of him to get a role player like Battier, giving up a chance for a promising young star.

Hopefully we break the bank and get a James Harden, or someone to lift this franchise.
