Double Dragon NES Mega Man I NES Getting Golds on all Gran Turismo liscencing tests River City Ransom NES (one of the final fights in the high school) Bubble Bobble NES (impossible without a second player, had to beg my sister to help) Mike Tyson and Bald Bull (second version) in Punch Out NES
I hate to be a NES snob, but there are much, much harder games on that system. For instance: Battletoads Ghosts and Goblins Gauntlet Adventures of Bayou Billy Double Dragon NES --- This was not a hard game at all. Machine Gun Willy can be problematic at times, but overall it's not at all bad. Mega Man I NES River City Ransom NES --- Also not a difficult game at any point. Mike Tyson and Bald Bull (second version) in Punch Out NES --- Sandman and Iron Mike are both a lot tougher, IMO.
This damn GAME!!! I cannot remember any other game that I have not beaten when I was younger except this MotherF@#$@* Always down to ZERO lives when entering the motherf@#$ing boss and no continues
Ninja Gaiden, I was only six years old in '92 when I first played it. I could never get past the snow levels. Im looking to ebay a NES console and give it another go. I still have my ninja gaiden cartridge...awesome, catchy music. Some of the best video game music. Unlike todays games which sound like movies. Can't wait to relive some nostalgia. And the 8-bit and 16-bit marios, although fun, were not very challenging. I could beat super Mario world in my sleep.
Stupid me didn't figure that out until I downloaded an emulator for Crime Fighters a few years ago. There's a point in the game where it's pretty much impossible to get through without spending at least $3.00.
that game was awesome. i don't think me or my friends ever did beat it. got to the last level and think we tried everything and decided it must have been a glitch or something. we didn't know what to do. there were also a few sports games based off those characters. anyone remember those? there was a soccer and dodgeball games i believe. they used the same characters. those were fun, could kill the other teams players by slide tackling them or throwing the ball at them.
I'm pretty sure I never finished any games by myself when I was younger Couldn't even beat Duck Hunt Could't beat Mario Couldn't beat BattleToads & Double Dragons - the Ultimate Team Up I think I might have beaten the 2nd Double Dragons game....but I might also have cheated...
Yeah paperboy was so hard, I dont think I lasted more than 10 mins, but also I didnt play it a lot, because I played that at a friends house. Other that I couldnt finish: Final Fight - SNES It was so hard, only one player, and no continues, I dont think I finished that, but I did finish Final Fight 2. Secret of Mana - SNES another one I couldnt finish, I dont remember well, but I think I got stuck in one map and couldnt get out of there.
