Houston Rockets Trade Update Thread

HMMMMM. Guess we will have to fight on with this group.

 

Remember guys last year we were all says "wow, I guess Houston isnt going to do crap." Then right before the bell struck 3, the Rockets trades came flooding in. Deals are coming, wont be obvious, and will be at the last minute.

 

I've come to grips with it.

There will be no franchise changing deal done this season.

I have to wonder what the plan is next year, though.

Surely Morey will go bugnuts blowing this thing up.

That's exactly what's wrong with Morey, the only risks he takes are on dumb players like Twill. We got lucky with moving Tracy for Kmart, all his other deals are very close to the deadline. He doesn't like to pull the trigger early, now he's too late and we finally can see through his strategy. He likes to hold out, overvalues our players and waits for the other side to lower their asking price.

 

It's going to suck having a disgruntled Martin on our bench still after today. We never seem to part ways with people amiably - it's always ugly.

Even if Im wrong, oh well. The Rockets have to realize that Gerald Wallace isnt the answer, and is not work a TOP 3 PROTECTED PICK.

Don't you notice that most deals in general are made at the last minute? Have you ever bid on eBay?

 

Sell for liquid assets (1st round picks). Get off the mediocrity treadmill.
