His NBA career is behind him now but still ballin in D league. I would take him in his prime over any center in the NBA right now besides Dwight Howard. Hard working men, all round true profession, 2 blocks per game, double debit rebounder. Here is to a great NBA baller.
Never averaged double digit boards my man...I'd take hibbert, cousins, pekovic,Bynum, chandler,Perkins,Jefferson,Monroe,Jordan, brook Lopez hell even camby ahead of him today and honestly that's off The top of my head
Ostertoast was nothing but a chump his entire time in the NBA, except... In game 6 against the Rockets in 1997 when he played the game of his career. Still not really over it. I remember my jaw dropping countless times watching this palooka do things he never did before or after. Ostertoast is the real reason the Rockets lost the game. It goes beyond Clyde shooting too early and Stockton hitting the buzzer-beater. For those too young, his line from that game: 38 mins, 16 points (6-6, 4-4 ), 14 rebounds, 3 blocked shots! It may be the most bizarre performance I've seen in a meaningful playoff game. A 5/5 guy blowing up. We all knew the Rockets were going to send it back to Utah for game 7, but lightening struck for 38 minutes. This is when I started despising the Jazz. May 1997. Didn't have a pulse about them beforehand. /rant
They really need to restrict new threads to somethging like only start a thread after 100 posts or 5 reps or something....
Pretty sure he has a Fred Flinstone tattoo. He was a mix of that an the OP's name. Always out of shape.
OP, is your username in any way named after him? If so, I don't see what you're doing on a Rockets board.
I give him credit for trying to come back at his age, but given his long history with the JazzHoles I don't really give a damn about him.
Let's see: 1. Shaq's b****...check 2. Kansas stiff....check 3. Helped beat Rockets.....check Conclusion: **** him!!!
Looks like he's going to burst out of that jersey! Before this thread I didn't know he was still playing.
