Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that would be the LARGEST trade in NBA History in terms of player movement within three teams...
Atl Recieves : 8.1 Trade Exception , steve blake , terrence williams , hasheem thabeet , hou 2nd Round Pick LAL recieves : Scola , Devin Harris , budinger , kirk hinrich , jordan hill/ Nyk 1st round pick Houston recieves : Pau Gasol , Marvin Williams , Raja Bell Utah Recieves : Kevin Martin , World Peace , Johnny Flynn The Trade seems like a win for every team i know im biased towards houston as they are the biggest winners , atl gets what they want salary cap relief with the TPE , rockets get 2 legit starters , lakers gets pgs and depth , utah gets their sg and a backup pg to go with world peace and get rid of devin haris whom they hate , u can switch bud with terrence williams too . The pick can be added if needed or jordan hill Lowry / Dragic Courtney Lee / Raja Bell Marvin Williams / Parsons / Morris Pau / Ppat Dalembert / Jordan Hill / Greg smith thats a very enviable 12 which i think could make noise in the playoffs We'd probably end games with Pau - Ppat - Williams - Lee - Lowry we could be easily top 4 in the west what would u guys think!??!
Michael Beasley and Darko Milicic ($11M total) of the Timberwolves for kevin Martin ($12M). The Wolves need an upgrade at shooting guard, and the Rockets get two players that answer our weaknesses, SF and PF/C.

Dumping scola and martin for jamison does a lot actually. First, the rockets are now a better defensive team. 2nd it gives patterson and lee the minutes needed to make a decision on them going forward. Next, jamison is a multi position vet who does his work and is great in the locker room. Finally, it gives the rocketsthe cap space needed to upgrade the roster in the offseason. I think the rockets will finish where they finish with or without martin and scola. Both have been up and down all season. At least with patterson and lee you get the consistent effort defensively every night.
Wait wait wait. You think Martin and Scola don't play good defense? Are we even watching the same games?
Matt Barnes is mediocre, low IQ, and a thug.. If we have trouble handling TWill's personality why in the hell would we consider this fool?
Houston in: Andre Iguodala Anthony Randolph Minnesota In: Kevin Martin Philadelphia In: Luis Scola Sam Dalembert Michael Beasley --- Houston in: Chris Kaman New Orleans in: Terrence Williams Jordan Hill Hasheem Thabeet Roster: Kyle Lowry/Goran Dragic Andre Iguodala/Courtney Lee Chandler Parsons/Chase Budinger Anthony Randolph/Patrick Patterson Chris Kaman/Greg Smith
Interesting proposition. I just don't see Philly doing that. They have two good developing centers in Hawes and Vucevic, so Dalembert doesn't fit here. They traded him for Hawes to begin with. I highly doubt they take on Scola's contract considering they are already tied down to an enormous contract with Elton Brand who also happens to play power forward. With our new lineup, our floor spacing would be really, really bad. Iggy might be better at certain things over Martin, but he isn't THAT much of an upgrade. Certainly not worth Martin, Scola and Dalembert IMO. Dalembert's contract is going to be valuable next year. With the way the season is unfolding, we are going to be playoff bound. Anthony Randolph may have a high ceiling but going with Scola, Dalembert and Kaman as a frontline would make a ton more sense right now. I don't think you can immediately start Randolph on a playoff team. Again, the floor spacing would be atrocious without going from Martin and Scola to Iggy and Randolph.
Marvin Williams and Chris Anderson are available and would give us a boost. If we can do it with Scola and 2009 busts - Im all in.
Yeah, it's not the best trade scenario. Just trying to think of a way to pry Anthony Randolph from the Wolves and get rid of Scola, since Randolph is getting no minutes there. How about Courtney Lee for Anthony Randolph straight up? http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7rdhwgc Then Scola to OKC for this and their late first round pick: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=83m6gw5
