God I miss freebirds. I get it every time I'm in Houston. We got a bullritos in nacogdoches. Guess I'll give them a try.

    Freebirds
Bullritos (Finally opened one in Spring. It's pretty good)
Chipotle (Their meat always seems to have a lot of fat on it for some reason)

    For me ...

    1. Chipolte
    close 2. Freebirds
    distant 3. Mission

I am a bit surprised about the lack of consensus.

Couple of years ago, I got EXTREMELY sick after eating at a Chipotle near Willowbrook. So sick in fact it changed my gag reflex for the worse.

I will NEVER eat with them again.

Big fan of Freebirds however....ever since my days in College Station back in the late 80's.

ha...i got food poisoning in college from chipotle. didn't even slow me down a second though.

i'd probably go: chipotle, bullritos (their steak kicks ass), mission.

never been a fan of freebirds, although i give them props for basically pioneering it (in texas, at least).

Wait, so you are the THIRD person on this thread to claim they got sick eating at Chipotle yet you recommend them as the best place to go?

    WTF?

me likey the taste. 24 hours of constant puking is a small price to pay for the years upon years of enjoyment those warm 1300 calorie foil-wrapped bundles of joy have brought me and my tastebuds.

Seems to me a lot of people's preference on these places is which location they frequented first. Or at least that's the trend I see. Chipotle is the first BYOBurrito place I ever had. I love them most. Bullritos is good too but I don't like their salsa and rice near as much as Chipotle. I went to Freebird's one time and was not very impressed.

I think I eat too fast to have much of a palette. They're all more or less the same to me.

Chipotle's hot salsa is very very good

    I've never eaten at bullritos

Freebirds -- something about their burritos just leaves them dry. Plus I tend to stuff myself by getting their monster sized one

Mission is not on my radar, although I used to eat there back in college before there were the other places

Freebirds is disgusting. Bullritos is amazing. Will have to try Chipotle since they went the organic route.
