Would prefer the grainy Playback '87 version, in between Boys of Summer, I'm Still Standing and Big Time.
My favorite song RIP <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/h9rCobRl-ng" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Man, I never liked her music, particularly that narcissistic greatest love of all claptrap, but everyone deserves a better life than her last few years. So odd that it appeared she got into drugs later in life. Fame can be a b****. RIP.
first famous black girl I have ever had a thing for. She was smoking hot for a while. I was just singing this song just the other day <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wye2Ce1KC5o" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Dexter Stuffins will be especially distraught. The way he straightened out Alphonso's dyslexia; you'd think he'd have been able to keep her clean.
Easy to assume that Bobby was to blame but it's been documented that she was using drugs as early as High School long before she met him. Either way, still a tragedy.
Sadly, that's what I first thought of when watching this on CNN tonight with the wife. I wasn't even going to tune in, but now it's a must. This seriously sucks. I wasn't a fan of her music, but she was waaay to talented and young. I heard she just sang at a party last night and was supposed to sing a Clive's pre-Grammy party tonight. So sick. BTW- How many celeb's have died in that freaking hotel?
