I don't know why some of you guys think it was the right call by the NBA. I live in Germany and if you do this kind of foul in soccer in our national league you will get suspended for minimum 1 month. This would be 4 or 5 games. In 34 game season like in our soccer league a lot but 2 games in an NBA season it is nothing.
Wow awesome critique. So even if they felt Love deserved 5 days it would have been hard to give it them. Why no team should be owned by the league.
Adelman doesn't think its fair: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_y...62ChW8vLYF?slug=ap-timberwolves-lovesuspended [rquoter] “Do I think it’s fair? No. Absolutely (not),” Adelman said. “I don’t know the reasoning. They don’t tell you the reasoning. I don’t know the reasoning why two games. They haven’t said anything. You’ve just got to move on.”[/rquoter]
i feel it was a fair deal after what he did to Scola. whether he says it was intentional or not he still deserves to be suspended without pay. i am very happy the league took a good look at the tape and did something.
What I think is fair is that when a player gets a suspension of this nature, the suspension should be vs the team whereby the event occurred. In other words, Love should be suspended for his next 2 games vs the Rockets.
