    You could be right, but would they want to be saddled with Okafor at $12 mil plus for 9 pts and 9 rebounds per game?

    They arent worth what they will start out wanting. I hope they know everyone else knows they are past their prime too. It would be great to get one of them for the Rockets at a reasonable price. The thing is they may have a huge tag for their past deeds. Morey should pass unless all they want is someone similar to them in skills but younger.

    As someone earlier said, I wouldn't take any except for Pierce. They just do add any value to our team. What we have is enough for us to make it to the first round of playoffs. I'm not sure if adding Allen, Garnett and Pierce can do that for us. Our players are starting to gel and learn the plays. With these old veterans coming in, it may take a while.

    Garnett/Allen for K-Mart/Scola/filler is intriguing

    Would probably just put Boston on the mediocrity treadmill, but Ainge likes to make big moves and Rondo/Martin/Pierce/Scola does sound like a pretty good starting group. Plus Morey and McHale have ties to the organization.

    For us, we get big names and a ton of future cap room.

    Scola, Twill, Bud for Pierce. Gives them a couple young players and a solid in Scola. We get an experienced 3 to show Parsons and Morris what's up.

    All these articles are from 2010 but the circumstances seem similiar to now.

    Kmart to Houston was itself a re-visited trade from the previous season.

    Could we see the Rockets go after a 36 year old Allen's expiring contract and his near 50% FG and 3P shooting?
