Yeah seriously. Last night they were forced to go with Lowry/Dragic and KMart at the 3 at one point, that's how little KMac trusts Bud.

Marcus Morris can do all the things and more that Markieff can do. He just has the skillset to play the 3 even though he has the same physical abilities of Markieff.

If the Rockets wanted to give Marcus Morris Patterson's minutes at the 4 they could, but they wont now because they have invested almost two years into Patterson, and give him a chance to work his way into shape.

There is no point in trading for Markieff because he would not crack the rotation now, and can be duplicated by his brother Marcus.... literally.

Plus, Phoenix would want top dollar for Markieff. Budinger would not get it done. They would ask the world for him at this point.

-Look at Brooks vs. Robin Lopez. Almost identicle situation with Twins. Robin is more of an inside defensive minded post player who does the dirty work. More of a traditional defensive center. Brooks is more of finese player who has the skillset to step away for the basket more and more offensive minded. Both sets of twins have grown up playing with each other enough to learn how to complement each others games.

Id love to have Markieff at the 4 and Marcus at the 3, but right now on this team Markieff wouldn't crack the rotation. Marcus had a better shot at getting minutes at the SF spot, but now that position is being sealed up by Parsons/Bud. Right now, it looks like, if Scola/Patterson still is struggling the next few weeks, to give Marcus a look at the backup 4 spot.

Here ladies and germs is case in point, KMac went with the hot hand in the first half to keep Kevin on the floor.

But, it gets spun as some anti-Bud agenda.

    Sadness is just sad.

Bud isn't as good as some of us hoped he be, and he isn't as bad as some today would have us believe. The problem here is that he isn't "The Other Morris." So who cares?

And the other Morris is not a Rocket so it shouldn't be in the GARM, or it should be in the random trade thread.

How can you miss that Deckard? You are sooooo slipping......

    ;)

This time last year he was in a legendary shooting slump, so I doubt that.

Morris, not Norris. Thought this was a Moochie thread. Nevermind.

Explain to me why Phoenix would want to make this trade? If Markieff is playing well, why would they want to acquire one our bench players.
